The top games to get are:

Zelda Twilight Princess (If you absolutely love the Legend of Zelda series! It's hailed as one of the best, right next to Ocarina of Time!)

Super Mario Galaxy (If you absolutely love the Mario series! It's hailed as one of the best, right next to Super Mario 64!)

Super Smash Bros Brawl (comes out next year on February 10, 2008. Some are way too hyped up for this Nintendo series fighting sequel; but it just may live up to Super Smash Bros Melee!)

Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, (Sonic has been Mario's rival all these years, and now they can play together in 1 game, at the Olypmics! This game is fun, like Wii Sports, and will have you working hard to earn 1st place!)

Mario Party 8 (A great Mario Party game if you love to party and play mini games!)

Super Paper Mario (If you love Paper Mario)

Excite Truck (An awesome Nintendo racing game; you drive trucks and can listen to your own music from you SD card.)

Link's Crossbow Training (it comes with the Wii Zapper; another great attachment for you Wii Remote and Nunchuck. You put them into it's shell and you got a handgun, shaped so you can play shooting games. Link's Crossbow Training puts you back into the world of Zelda Twilight Princess, and you can improve your marksmanship by sniping badies and targets with Link's trusty crossbow filled with unlimited arrows! I just got this game and I absolutely love it as much as Twilight Princess!) :D

and many others... so pick the games you think you might like best. There's also lots of other third party games; some for teens, adults, and lots of fun and wacky games for kids. I'd bet you find something you would like!

Metroid Prime Corruption, Guitar Hero 3, Medal of Honor 2 Heroes, and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess are great games for your older son. For your younger son i'd suggest Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, EA Playground, Wii Play, Carnival Games. And last but not least Super Mario Galaxy for both your young and old.

Older child would like Metroid Prime 3 Corruption and Guitar Hero III (rated T for teen) and the younger one would like super paper mario, super mario galaxy as well. Wii has a lot of fun games.

I am 14 and i have a wii. I enjoy Guitar Hero 3 and Fifa 07. For your five year old son i bet he would enjoy a game related to what he is interested in, ex: Mario or Sonic, or something along that line

For a game they could play together? I think it would be worth it to check out "Legos Star Wars: The Complete Saga".

It's our 4 year old grandson's absolute favorite and he plays it either with my husband or our 15 year old nephew--it's his favorite game too. It's great for kids of all ages! And they play the game working together as a team--not in competition with each other. Solving puzzles together while one works on it, the other watches his back. With 36 different levels featuring the best parts from all 6 movies, it offers plenty of variety and challenge for just about everyone.

I'd also highly recommend getting "Super Mario Galaxy". As possibly the best Wii game made to date, it belongs in every family's library. It can be a little disorienting though, and as it requires good coordination, may be a little too challenging and frustrating for your 5 year old--at least right now.

For your older boy, I would recommend "Zelda Twilight Princess". An action/adventure of epic proportions, your biggest problem may be getting him to curtail his play time.

If he likes music? Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock might be a good choice.

As far as games for your 5 year old? Until we found "Lego Star Wars" we had a problem finding really suitable games our 4 year old grandson could really play and enjoy. Most are a little too challenging and frustrating for his age level.

A really good "first party shooter" game for him might be "Elebits", which not only our grandson enjoyed, but enthralled my husband to the point where he spent a couple weeks solid playing it until he progressed through all 27 levels! Although it's primarily a "shooting" game, your weapon is actually a "capture gun" which you use just to trap the "Elebits" to use them to power up electronics.

(Cosmic Family? Well, at the age of 4, our grandson just finds it too simplistic--he got bored with it after one hour, but I think for younger toddlers it might be great.)

Mario based games are always good for anyone. They are good to play together. The Wii sports is good. I also agree with Guitar Hero as well.
