Anybody have this camera and need better "zoom"? I do! I would like to get a lens that is not so very expensive that will zoom as good as my old $99 point and shoot camera. Help! I love my Nikon J1 but need advice. Thanks in advance!

Has anyone successfully refurbished a three person swing like this...the top and the fabric seat are gone, I have only the frame left. Garden winds brand three person swing, originally from Wal Mart. I wonder if there is a way to use wood or something for the seat, etc. Thanks for your ideas!

Bob, our co-worker was given a project and asked me and Mary, another co-worker for our critique. We advised him he there were a lot of mistakes and it wouldn't work. He insisted his project was great and the boss approved it, on and on how perfect it was. Now, because I didn't report to the boss that his work was inadequate, I'm catching heck about it from the boss. I am not Bob's supervisor, just his coworker, and I don't think I'm to blame for another's problem. Advice Please!

I have a friend who has the D3100 and takes beautiful pics...another friend who has the D5100 and won't use it due to large size. I have had a point and shoot Nikon before and loved the picture quality so I'm even considering the P500 and am open for suggestion. What's your advice? Would like to find a good "bridge" camera or a good entry level DSLR if it's not too bulky. Thanks!!!

I need to buy a replacement engine for a log splitter. TSC has Briggs and Stratton and Kohler for about $300 but the Speeco brand is $189 but I know nothing about that brand and can't find any reviews. Does anyone have any advice or experiece with the Speeco engines? Thanks!

We accidentally left two large cups of chicken liver on the boat in 100 degree weather for two weeks.

It was terribly rotten and now the cooler compartment in which it was stored stinks really bad. I guess it's made of fiberglass or plastic. It has been thoroughly washed and rinsed with soap and water over and over. We have been airing it out in the sun. We have used: Febreeze, Carpet Fresh, Baking Soda, Activated Charcoal, and a Eucalyptus oil based odor remover so far and have l decreased the smell about 75% What can we to get rid of the odor completely before we give up and take it to a professional? I appreciate your advice!

AT full throttle the rpm's go to 2000, takes approx 20 seconds to get on plane then rpm's slowly climb. Trims out at 4200 rpms and here it porposes really bad. Trim in or drop back to 3700 rpms stops the porposing. What can I do to remedy this problem? This is the way the boat was rigged when I bought it new. This is a 2010 Ranger 177TR. Centerline of prop is 7.5" below the bottom of the boat in case that is relevant. Thanks for your help.

At the beginning of summer, I did a thorough cleansing of our home, every room, every corner with good results, but it was quite a chore to complete that. Now that it's autumn, I want to burn the sage again, but want to avoid the whole house thing. Is it acceptable/effective to just burn the sage smudge and sweet grass afterwards from a central location and allow it to waft through the house? Or would that be a bad idea. Those experienced with this ritual, please help me out. Thanks!

I got a new tv this weekend, a Sony Bravia that will stream Netflix, Youtube, etc. if you connect it to the internet. I have a wireless router in my house already. It mentions an ethernet cable (hope to avoid) or an ethernet bridge (which looks like a box that plugs into the ethenet port). Radio shack didn't know what I was talking about...has anyone with this type of TV successfully connected up and what did you use? any suggestions?
