I will be returning to India from the US. Can I take some INR with me?

Also can I carry a laptop and a digital camera?

Theres no problem carrying INR from there. I have always done that for the past couple of years.

Also laptop, take it without packing etc in ur handbaggage - which wud be ur laptop bag mostly, so u dont have to pay customs.

A digital camera is not a problem either. Checked baggage or hand baggage, though Id always carry it in my hand baggage for safety sake, my husbands taken it thro chked baggage too once, and tha baggage got misplaced n stuff, but at the end we got it back with everything intact including the dig cam.

If they do ask, you could endorse it, and say ur carrying with u for ur visit.

You can take INR with you if you are a NRI. If you are carrying a new laptop and a new cam you need to pay customs.
