How hard is it to get AP license? USAF?
I'm in the air force as a crew chief im gonna try to get a AP license to go work outside the military, any information will be useful? what is the test based on?

My husband said that you go to the AF Virtual Education Center online and do a certificate search. It's not difficult at all. You just enroll, print out the training records(just like your 623s), and send off for the CDCs. You'll have to do a few different tasks, so just get with your unit's E/E and Avionics guys to get you signed off on the non-crew chief tasks. My husband is almost done with his. It's totally free for active duty. I believe you have to have 3 years of time on your airframe for the certification though. Once you enroll, they'll get you all of the specifics.
