Stomache Pains and consipation during pregnancy?
ok found out two weeks ago that i was 3 and a half weeks prego so that now makes me about 5 and a half weeks. I've been consipated off and on for two weeks now. a few days ago i had real bad stomache pains they didn't feel like cramps more like when you have a stomache it was really bad could barely move but ok now i have a dr appointment monday, i would just like to know if anyone has experienced this and can tell me about it. could this have something to do with being consipated. By the way there was bo bleding thanks for any info you can give.

I had the same problem in my first trimester and it was extremely painful and uncomfortable. I got some "All Bran Vanilla Clusters" (not 100% sure about the name) and it worked great. There's something like 10 grams of fiber per serving. The flakes taste very bland, so I definately recommend the vanilla cluster because then you have a little flavor and sweetness.
Don't take laxatives though, that could hurt the baby. I think you might could take Kaeopectate (sp?) but I'd check with your doc. Or go onto Google and search for "nurse hotline" in your area - they are a wealth of knowledge!

I had the same thing, Im 8 weeks not. It will go away soon. Congrats on being preggo too!!!
