What kind of activities or workshops can I have to teach teen girls about politics?
I'm taking a group of teen girls to the state capital to learn about politics and advocacy. What kind of workshops can I hold to teach the girls about these topics? The goal is to show the girls how they can get involved and make a difference in the causes that are important to them. We want this to be something the girls can enjoy as well. Any input would be helpful!!!

Contact your local congressman and ask him to arrange a personal tour of the state capitol for your girls. He may be able to meet with them personally, or have one of his fellow congressmen help.
I am sure the state capitol also has many brochures and pamphlets that will explain the different areas of our government.
