Why Doesn't The Media Talk About People Like Warrick Dunn?

On ESPN, all you here is about Barry Bonds and Micheal Vick. Everything is always negative. Warick Dunn funds new homes for less fortunate people. He's always raising money for charity. In other words, he's just a real good human being. Why don't we ever hear about him and other athletes like this?

Update:

I agree that it would be boring to only talk about the positive. When I watch sportscenter, I want to know what's going on in the world of sports, not hear the "tragic " story of Pacman Jones. I guess that's the world we live in today. Everything is negative, negative, negative.

It does. In fact, I've heard that they talk about all the great stuff he's done so much, he gets mad that nobody mentions what he does on the field.

They have been talking about Dunn a lot lately especially since his new book. But I do see where you are coming from and unfortunately TV would be quite boring if we watched the good deeds of everybody we need a mixture.

Controversy sells, just like politics, don't mention the many things this country has done for other countries when they need help, only mention when this country goes to war against other countries

Because ESPN is the "ENTIRE SPORTS NETWORK" not the "BLEEDING HEARTS NETWORK"!

They talk sports and mostly.........well sports. Dunn should play better and they will talk about everything he does on and off the field.

Because they are too busy either swallowing the Patriots' kids or concentrating all of their energy on the bad apples.

You are exactly right. There are many good people in the NFL, but only ones that do illegal stuff get attention.

It doesn't sell. Besides, they can't fit him or anybody else in due to the french kissing of Tom Brady.
