staticy hair?

I'm in a study hall in school, and my hair is really staticy. Is there a way to make it less staticy. It's really annoying.

Update:

and im in school so i cant use a dryer sheet or hair spray

rub in a good amount of lotion between your hands and run your hands through your hair

works like a charm, babycakes =D

Don't try to sooth it with your hair because you have static electricity runing through your body. Use an article of clothing (a winter jacket won't work, preferably a hoodie or something cotton) and run it over your hair. That should calm it down for a little bit but you might have to do it again between class. However, the brush and hairspray thing works best and I'd ask around and see if someone carried a brush and hairspray with them.

Try spraying your hair with Static Guard in the moring before going to school

Straight hair is a hot look right now. After you flat iron your hair

try spraying Static Guard on your brush and running it thru your hair to avoid embarrassing fly-a-ways. If you really want to get into

the 80's trend try a fun but subtle asymmetrical hair cut.

Well I don't know what you have with you, but the best thing for static is to spray a little hairspray on a hairbrush and brush through. That calms the static right away.

for a quick fix take a TINY bit of lotion and rub it through your hair. dont use to much it will make it look oily, then when you get home use a dryer sheet. when i was in school i would bring dryer sheets and keep them in my locker! just a tip! hope this helps!

Don't you get dizzy when you use the dryer sheet? Also what if you can't fit in your dryer? I would use Ensure conditioner, it has an anti static formula and smells like grapefruit.

This is a little late, but put a tiny bit of lotion in your hands and rub it through your hair. Yu can do the same thing with water if you're really in a pinch, but it won't last as long as a bit of lotion.

Wash hair when you get home, then use conditioner and then after blowdring it (or letting it dry naturally) use hairspray to keep it in place, however for a quick fix now, try dampning it down with water

staticy hair usually means its dry, try conditioner and a shampoo designed for adding moisture

Get a balloon, and rub it on your head.

Nah nah jks. Wait for a humid day, or simply use some gentle product, like frizz free serum, or hairspray, mousse, gel, etc.
