He started a new job and wants gift cards for business clothes. The problem is my husband and I were planning on budgeting this year and gift cards make the amount of your gift so obvious. Should I get a gift card or just stick with our plan?

I have a crappy full-time job. I work every Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 11 pm. I have been applying and interviewing for a better job for months now. One company I interviewed with in March hired me as a temp with potential for hire at an unspecified date. I start Monday and this temp job is also full-time M-F 8am to 5pm. I need advice because I feel pressured to keep my crappy job, considering this is only a temp position. I wouldn't feel comfortable quitting until I was hired permanently. Am I stupid thinking I can pull this kind of schedule off, working 7 days a week? What would you do?

I dye my hair every 4 to 6 weeks. My natural color is light to medium brown and I just lighten it to a very light brown with permanent color. I'm kind of bored, but I get this way sometimes. Should I just dye it again or should I put some highlights in it instead? Something different? If so which color should the highlights be? Or do I have to touch up my roots before I highlight? You know how it gets boring with hair color, what would you do?

I see questions on here all the time about makeup that eventually comes off because of watery eyes but that is not my problem. My eyes are so watery that the makeup won't stick in the corners of my eyes in the first place. Is there a product that will stick to my skin in case my eyes are watering while I'm applying? Thanks for any advice.

My cat used to have a tough time using the litter box and after months of trying everything under the sun, we found a litter that he likes and we've been problem-free ever since. That is until today. My cat, Frankie, had coughed up a bad hairball late last night and then this morning I emptied his litter box. He had used it, but when I went into the living room, there was a piece of poop under the coffee table. I am hoping against hope that this was a single accident and that he will not revert back to his litter box boycott. What do you guys think?

I have had a Victoria's Secret credit card for probably five years now, I've used it, I always pay my balance, etc. Well today I tried to sign up for online statements instead of getting one in the mail, and when I put my credit card number and my social security number, it said that the information entered was invalid. How is that possible? I've never had a problem using it or anything. I'm going to call tomorrow, but if it is the wrong social security number and I've been using the card for years, is that fraud?

Ok I was offered a job and I accepted but it is only three days a week and I really need more money than that. I had a job interview the week before last and I am supposed to hear back from them by Monday. It is a retail job and I want to take that in addition to the job I just got. How can I keep both? The first job is every Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday for twelve hours. Will a retail job be happy with the other four days of availability? I can work any hours on those days. Any advice?

Ok I love horror fiction. I read everything I can get my hands on by Richard Laymon, Jack Ketchum, Ira Levin and various others but I just don't dig Stephen King that much. His stories seem to be drawn out, which is not a problem if they are good but they're just not. The books he wrote as Richard Bachman I like, actually, and a few others. I liked Christine, Gerald's Game, The Long Walk, Rage but I tried reading Desperation and it was incredibly boring. One of my best friends is obsessed with the Dark Tower(s?) series and suggests I read this and related books, but I am always so disappointed, any advice on why I don't like it or maybe a reason to give it a shot? The phenomena in his books is never explained and some people may find this endearingly ambiguous, but to me it's just the sign of a bad writer who can't finish his own ideas. I don't want to anger anyone, I just want to understand and maybe I can enjoy his work. Who knows?

I noticed that my cat has a little sniffly sound when he is out of breath, it's definitely through his nose. He's been acting normally, we were playing and then I heard it. I am probably going to take him to the vet tomorrow morning but I was just curious how much will it cost to get him checked out? Any ideas?

Ok I am going to tell you all of the details so please read them fully and I appreciate any suggestions. My male cat Frankie is 9 months old. We got him in October and he has used the litter box since the day we got him. He is neutered. We have always lived in the same place, his litter box has always been in the same place. It is covered and we have used the same kind of litter at all times. I will clean the litter box twice a week completely and sift through twice a day. He will always pee in the box. He will poop in the box the first night I clean it but after that he will poop on the floor beside the box or in the tub. I tried putting two litter boxes in the bathroom so he could pee in one and poop in one, but he peed and pooped in both and then continued to poop on the floor and tub until I cleaned it again. I have taken him to the vet and got a clean bill of health. I spend time with him playing and petting. He even sleeps with us. I can't afford new litter everyday, any help?

My cat is pooping on our bathroom floor. I need help understanding why so I can fix this. Please read further because I will cover the bases I know... I clean his litter box twice a week completely. I sift through it at least twice a day to check for wastes. He has been with us since October and I have never had problems before other than an occasional one or two but I always figured they were stuck to him and it wasn't his fault. now for two weeks he has been full out crapping on the floor or our rug.When I find this I wash our rug and floors but I can't do this everyday...why is he doing this. Also, he has so many toys and we play with him all the time, so I don't think it's boredom. Any help?

I have four more full time semesters to finish my degree in communications and I am having a hard time finding a decent paying job that will work around my schedule. I know that completing a degree online would help best with my current schedule but other than convenience, is the degree worth it? Is it accepted by employers and respected as a bachelor's degree just like from any other school or is it taboo? I want to earn a four year degree so I can go into pharmaceutical sales, do you think this will be a respectable degree for this?

My cat, Frankie, has been kind of sluggish the past two days. A couple of things I have noticed is his right eye was watery last night, but it did not last long and I have heard him sneeze a few times, but not alot. He is eating and drinking water and using his litter box normally. The main issue is that he is sleeping all the time and looks tired. He still plays and he's still acting like himself, just sleepy, but I'm a little concerned. Should I take him to the vet, or am I overreacting?
