Did my cat have an accident or what?
My cat used to have a tough time using the litter box and after months of trying everything under the sun, we found a litter that he likes and we've been problem-free ever since. That is until today. My cat, Frankie, had coughed up a bad hairball late last night and then this morning I emptied his litter box. He had used it, but when I went into the living room, there was a piece of poop under the coffee table. I am hoping against hope that this was a single accident and that he will not revert back to his litter box boycott. What do you guys think?
I was just pointing out that it seems he was dealing with alot so maybe that would explain other difficulties.
It is all related to his digestive tract afterall...

what does a hairball have to do with the litterbox????? I wouldn't worry about it.... Like you said it was proably a single accident, just coincidental with the hairball.... If it continues though, bring him to the vet, it could be a sign of an infection or whatnot....
