how do i get more watts out of my cb radio i need more then 4 watts ?

    4 watts is the legal limit. Anything more is illegal.

    the legal limit for CB radio is 4 watts.

    you can broadcast further with a good antenna, a 102" whip is the best way usually. the fiberglass firestick's are good, but you still need height.

    there are tuner screws inside the radio, you'd need a diagram to find out which one is the power regulator and adjust it accordingly. depending on your radio you can get like up to 40watts more.

    either take it to a cb shop and have it turned up, or buy a linear amplifier
