I was put on steroids and also gained weight. I put on 30 pounds in two months. Since you are still on steroids, it is really important to have a good diet and exercise routine in place. After I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, I started a new diet and exercise plan that helped me to lose weight. I cut out all the bad carbs, except on rare occasion. I was limited on the good carbs. I walk 30+ minutes a day. You may want to do a little more excersizing than that once you get used to it because of the steroids. Most important, I cut out all pop and sugary drinks. Even diet pop may not be good for a diet. I switched to bottled water. You must also make sure to have 4 to 5 small meals a day, around the same time every day. To keep your metabolism regular. It helps to talk to a nutritionist. Just make sure its something you can stick with.

How fast and when did you start to see yourself gaining weight?

Sorry to say it but, US doctors will only tell you that this drug is working and this is just a side affect (my butt) or that yes this drug is not working for you, so lets have you take this one.

Mexico, Canada, China and Cuba have very good doctors.

Good Luck with All that you do!

And this is just my advice. I'm Not A Doctor!

I have some ideas for you.

    For leg exercises:

    1. lay on the floor and alternately left each leg.

    2. stand behind a chair and scissors your leg (open and close) you can do this many ways stand facing the chair and kick back, alternating legs, or you can stand with 1 hand sideways and kick out.

    For your arms.

    1. Get some cans of veggies and work those arms.

you can do different movements, the same as weight lifting.

It's because you're on steroids. I bet you could lose it if you can manage without them. I'm not a doctor, though, and I don't recommend just stopping them just to lose weight.
