Debate on the world,fast or slow?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe there are oil deposits in the center of the earth. I believe the center of the earth is occupied by an iron molton core that spins to create our magnetic field.

As far as gravity goes, its created from the mass of the earth along with it's rotation around the sun at a set and measurable speed so that we won't fall into the sun. (*not* because of spinning oil deposits in the center of the earth.)

Some English leader probably said, "Oil makes the world go 'round," or words to that effect. He didn't mean that there was oil at the center of the Earth or that oil causes the Earth to spin.

The world's production of oil has peaked (2004), and it has begun slowly to decline. The rate is small as yet, but the decline will increase in speed. However, the demand for oil will continue to rise for some time, which means that there will be a bidding war for it that will drive up the price. Since oil is needed in the making and transportation of nearly everything else, that means that the prices of nearly everything will rise.

When businesses that had been depending on cheap oil can no longer afford to buy oil, they will go broke and lay off all their workers. That means many useful things, even necessary things, either won't be made, or won't be transported to the stores for people to buy.

And that means all hell will break loose at some point. People will suffer, and some will actually starve to death. And before they starve, many of them will become thieves and murderers. Governments will declare martial law in an attempt to contain the violence, but, I think, they will soon be overwhelmed. The scale of events will be too large for even government to deal with.

Tall/slow will always win in the long run. They would just clog up the middle and force the quick little guys to shoot jump shots. They would never shoot as high a percentage from the outside as the tall guys would shoot from the inside, because the little guys couldn't stop the tall guys in the post. The only way the little guys could outscore the tall guys is by forcing turnovers with their quickness. But that's a gamble, and even if it works for a little while, they would run out of gas before the end of the game.

im going to take a page from spaceguys book and answer this question the same way he did also the way it was written upon asking there is no oil in the center of the earth but other people have said that now havent they ok earths spin doesnt create gravity its mass causes the gravity we need to keep from flying off yaks make poor house pets box of frogs tree farts squirrels toejam live long and prosper

1) There is no Oil in the centre of the earth - there are oil deposits in the earth's crust. The centre of the earth is molten rock and iron

2) Gravity is caused by the Earth's mass, not because it spins

3) If the world stopped spinning then gravity's effect would be STRONGER because there is no centripetal force trying to 'spin you off'

you watch the movie "the core" and you will have an idea that it isn't oil but molten iron that is spinning rapidly in the center of the earth. This molten iron causes magnetic fields and the reason how we can determine which is NORTH and which is south..

ok the center of earth is not filled with oil and if all the oil in the world was to be used up which will happen very soon then nothing is going to happen exept we will be looking at other ways to lubricate and power our vehicles in which we already are doing that too,

After reading that all I can say is 'Somebody stop the World, I want to get off!!'
