What kind of speakers/subs can I hook up to an IPOD?

...that are loud enough for a basement / party.

    You can use any self powered speakers and subs or you can use a standard receiver/ amp and speaker arrangement and just plug the Ipod into an available input with a mini stereo to

    RCA conversion cable that's available at any electronics store.
