How many people loose their jobs as a result of their behavior at the company holiday party?

I'm from the UK so I do not know what it might be like elsewhere but I cannot recall any person loosing their job because of the type of behaviour you have mentioned. Most large companies stay away from holding these factions maybe because of the sort of thing you are saying.

I am sure that such antics would be punished but in a more subtle way.

none....that I know of...the company I work for has some real scandalous behavior...and after a few drinks ...the skanks come out .....there have been fights...stealing ..and other nasty behavior not just from regular personal but management as well ...and these people still work for the company...

I haven't yet heard of people loosing their jobs over a chrismas party, but definately loosing a promotion.

Hit the dollar store and make mystery gifts. For a few bucks you can get something for all of them. Just put plenty in each box.

The people that didn't need to work there in the first place...that's the REAL reason why such parties are thrown.

Apparently, companies are now shying away from booze-ups to celebrate Christmas as they're afraid of getting sued for insults and injuries, etc. They want to move it away to adventure weekends and things like that.

Not enough, one did this year in my company...got drunk and tried to get the CEO to sleep with her, than got caught f'ing some guy in the coat check room...

I probably should have been one of them at one point!
