What are some good "dive" bars in Chicago?

    I can't for the life of me remember the bar's name (sorry), but if you walk north on N Rush St above Illinois Ave, there's a little hole-in-the-wall bar on the left that I thought was pretty great.

    go to the "western walk" in the south side beverly area from 99th and western to 115th and western. there are lots of nice and fun "dive bars" there
