I've never heard of that video card, so I'm guessing it's on board graphics. The first step is to find out what type of slot you have, either PCI-Express or AGP. Download the program from the #1 link below and run the program. Under like either Graphics Slot or Graphics Card (something along those lines) it should say wether you have a AGP or PCI-Express (i can't remember exactly what it's under, so unless you're computer savvy go to the next steps). Either that, or go to the compaq/hp/gateway/dell site, enter in your brand number and it should give you the information, or talk to online tech support and they'll be able to tell you for sure.
For sure, your computer has EITHER pci-express or agp, and for either one of these video card slots, you'll be able to get from a $50 card to a $900 card. So it's just as far as you want to upgrade

Sorry dude, but what sam wrote isn't going to be much help. You wont have a PCI-express or AGP because its a laptop, and a old one at that. CNET says you have a ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 - AGP 4x graphics card, which means it's not integrated. So, yeah you can update your card, just it doesn't seem like another one is made for that computer model. That's the problem with laptops, even if they do have non integrated video cards, your going to be limited by your model, for the most part anyway.
