If, If, If, Woulda Coulda Shoulda, What if this, What if that What a stupid question. You're only adding fuel to the racism fire. Good job on keeping the racism problem alive. What's the freaking point of asking these types of hypoethetical questions, when the only thing they do is tick people off more than they already are? Stupid questions about the Gates arrest are getting old, and they were old from the start. This racism thing is centuries old, and people are saying the same thing, over and over and over. How freaking stupid can you people be? Do you think you can come up with a valid argument some day? And I'm talking to ALL races, not just a particular one. Because ALL races are guilty of the same things - the racist remarks, the anger, the violence. You're ALL guilty of it, and keeping it alive. And don't think you're innocent just because you say "Well, I was only saying it cuz he said... ". No, that's bull. You don't have to retaliate with crap just because someone hurt your little feelings. Sheesh, people, use your freaking brain. Use your energy to solve racism rather than fuel it. Oh God, what am I saying, that'll NEVER happen. America will never band together to defeat racism. Racism STINKS.

Wow what a question. First of all Bush was never arrested for drugs, there were allegations only. Having a question what with all those drug arrests and DUI is misleading and incorrect. Bush did have a DUI when he was 24 years old which drive by media went ballistic over four days before the election and it almost cost him the election. So let's recap Clinton says he smoked marijuana but didn't inhale and the drive-by media buys it unbelievable. Barry Oboma admits to using cocaine and smoking marijuana and is run for president now the drive-by media doesn't seem to care.

If your question were to end with just Bush being black, I'll assume the rest of his life is similar. The same thing would have happened. His dad would have been a powerful, well-connected politician and he would have been a Yale graduate. I live in Louisiana and see similar stuff all the time. Whether black or white, if someone is connected, they get off. Look at Jefferson's girl and the Fields boys here.

I used to believe that after the civil rights movement of the '50's and '60's, we as a nation would have come further. Hatred for blacks in America is still alive and well.
Even the senator from Illinois running for president is never referred as white but black. His mother was white. Sadly, the answer is he would still be in jail. Now, just watch the thumbs down on this one.

He'd have Sharpton, Jackson, and the NAACP down there yelling about racism. He got off easy because he's rich and connected, not because of color.

what a waste of a question! It's like saying we should fire all the steroid addicts! Have you any forgiveness in you for the past mistakes we all have made, you included?
