Worst Boss of 2007 Question - Do you have a bad boss story ?

Hmmm... well this one is situational. Okay, so I had a paid internship with the government. At the interview, I should have seen the forshadowing because the woman I was assigned to work with kept asking me all of these obscure questions. Anyhow, everything was cool. But about 4 weeks into the job, she pulls me aside and says that I rolled my eyes @ her. Very immature. I told her that her accusation was completely unfounded but she said that she would let it go. I assumed all was fine. Then about 2 months later, I had a mandatory meeting with her, my boss, and another staff member. Well, they told me that I have a black girl's attitude and that it needs to change (rather racist if you ask me). After the meeting I met with my supervisor in her office and gave her little bit of my side. My supervisor told me to go home and think about it. I did and emailed her letter explaining how the woman accused me of eye rolling and asked me if I had found another job yet. Anyway, to make a long story short, my boss forwarded the email to my co-workers. They responded by saying that I should be fired. She fired me 2 days later, the Friday before Thanksgiving.

Well it's too much of a long story but I'll sum it up. I had a boss that was so cheap that he sent for staff from Asia who didn't speak English well to work in an English speaking environment. He underpays all staff and does not pay overtime, I should have been awarded a raise due to performance and I waited for 6 six months still didn't get the raise. He always wants more out without putting in and he usually uses people to make his Company better then fire them because he didn't want to pay them anymore.

Oh, I left the job on payday, lol.

Great question, and fun one to answer.... My boss is so full of himself. I've never seen anyone full of so much pride. I have self esteem myself, so I just look at him and shake my head, but omg it really can be annoying sometimes. It can be anything from his bod, to his family, to his fave college, pro sports team... it doesn't matter. The guy is full of himself and that's all there is to it!
