Yes, a voice coach can teach you about breathing and certain exercises which can help you.

Also, I wish to suggest an incentive spirometer. It's a small handheld device which gives you a visual ideal as to your lung capacity in milliliters. A paper is included for height, weight and body type and the norms at which you should be performing. You basically use it several times a day and it encourages you to take a deep breath and cough. A mouthpiece is inserted and a sealed chamber holds a piece taht moves up and down to give you a measurement on your inspiratory capacity. It's a fully plastic handheld device and would probably only cost you a couple of dollars, but it requires a physician's permission for use.

It depends on what your pulmonary capacity reduction is due to, is it a physical restriction like skeletal deformity or disease process like pulmonary fibrosis? Asthma is an obstructive pulmonary disease which reduces flow, not restrictive disease which reduces volume, so an inhaler will not be useful. Heavy breathing and vigorous exercise may be contra-indicated, too depending on the cause of your reduced capacity, although many other forms of exercise may be beneficial, an incentive spirometer which is a device which provides visual aid for deep breathing exercises may be useful,, but you can learn deep breathing technique without a spirometer, but more information is needed.

It's very possible to learn to sing well. You just need to know the right methods. Learn here https://tr.im/LqQYR

Singing teachers will cost money and can be expensive so they're not for everyone. Singing can be learned so it's not an "either you have it or you don't" kind of thing.

Whether you sound like crap or you're decent, I recommend this singing course. It's one of the best methods to learn to sing well in a short amount of time. It's all about using efficient techniques that work.

Yes... any activities that involve heavy breathing would improve these conditions. Including any rigorous exercise. So baically anything that gets you breathing hard.

    I suggest asking your doctor.

If the problem is asthma related, an inhaler would be best.
