these people are getting the "brake" light mixed up with hondas "brake light" that lights up when you have a brake light out.

It could be from a couple things, the wrong bulb installed. Corrosion on the connections. or failure of that little box that is next to your brake lights

My guess is its prob just that, but to maek sure a trip to the mechanic might be in the future

Probably need to check your brake fluid level. I had a car that would do that too. I just added some brake fluid and the light went off.

your emergency brake isnot totally off, or needs adjusting

o go to a shop right away because the light could indicate you need new brake pads......

What would light bulbs have to do with the brake light?...Check the fluid or the pads...If they're fine, its probably a sensor

I went to the dealer and they said it was just acting up tho. So, they reset it.
