I'd say that even if they want you back now they have made it pretty clear that you aren't their first priority and who knows what they would leave you for again in the future.

i would be pretty sad but then agian if you love the person then you want whats best for him and if this music thing that he is doing makes him happy then be there for him even though it hurts you
