Samsung memory stick ???

Anyone know why my sdc23 will not reconise a memory stick pro -I get memory stick error-then not formatted It says format complete but I guess thats just to erase ,or a site for a manuel would help also

    I don't know much about Memory sticks, but make sure it's not locked or write-protected. Maybe the stick is actually defective
