Where can my friend go to eat in NYC on Christmas Day?
My friend and her sis are spending Christmas in NYC and would like to go somewhere nice but not too pricey to eat on Christmas Day. They like steaks, lobster etc. etc. - it's been 8 yrs since I was last there so I have no up to date suggestions.
Any help would be much appreciated - also, info on if they need to book in advance especially with it being Christmas.
Thanks!

The team of chef Mario Batali at the great Italian restaurant Lupa in West Village, is offering the traditional Feast of Seven Fishes for $75.00. This Christmas Eve dinner include lobster and crab stew with sardinian pasta and fennel. They say reservations will be closed on Christmas Day, but I think you need to contact them now if you want to eat there on Christmas Day.

Smith and Wollensky is not too pricey.....located in the 40's on 3rd Avenue I believe.............and it's known for their steaks and seafood.
