Mac Airport Does not accept my password?

I have 2 laptops I can get online with one of them ,the other one is a Mac iBook ,I want to use my wireless (AirPort Exterem) it asks for password and then it says password is not correct I can not see this Airport base in my Airport configuration but I see its name on my list of available WIFI

it happens only with my Mac Ibook,anyone had the same problem?? I need help

    Maybe the password encryption doesn't match. The iBook might be using WAP instead of WPA (or vice-versa).

    Unplug the airport extreme... there is a small button on the back (the reset button) push it in for 10-15 seconds and it will reset it to factory settings and you can set it up from there... you wont need your password (my husband works for apple and I just asked him =)

  • I had a similar problem. You need to either pick a different connection or just call apple. I had to call apple and reconfigure the internet connect advanced settings. I have no idea how to do that stuff so i just call.
