People who know Minneapolis, MN I need help!?

I am trying to plan a surprise birthday party for one of my best girlfriends. We will be having it in the cities because it is a central location for all of us. I am looking for a bar that has a separate area that we can hold the party in. I am trying to keep the cost down as well. If anyone has any suggestions for me, I would be forever grateful. Thanks for your help!

Update:

We are 24-25 years old and we like to drink and dance.

Update 2:

Wonderful, thank you all for the help. As far as the last post, I was pretty amused with your answer. If that is how you feel, than I have to respect that.

you could always try Chino Latino, technically its a restaurant BUT it does have a bar and the environment is fantastic, although it is a bit on the pricey side its not bad for Minneapolis. You can try the restaurant "The Loring Pasta Bar" and although they don't have a bar, there are a few in walking distance such as the Library. You can also try bar/restaurants like the Bulldog, Shouthouse, and Downtime (wed night downtime has $10 at the door and all you can drink beer and long islands.) Also, you can look into the 7 Corners bars.To be honest, I am a college student, so what seems good to me might not seem that great to you BUT you should call some of these places and check out what they offer.

Grumpy's on Washington Ave. has a wonderful side room for parties with an attentive staff and reasonable prices. I've dj'ed there for private parties and it's a wonderful spot to party!
