Is Global Warming concerns "uncool"?

I think the same question applies as to whether or not it is cool to treat animals like furniture, pot plants, fashion accessories and ignoring the fact that all animals are living, breathing, feeling and thinking beings.

In the animal world, one needs to exercise enormous patience and endure endless frustrations when communicating with people who are ignorant and believe that humans are better and hold greater rights. How cool is it to tie a Yorkie to a rocket of 'fireworks'? Push a cat down the spikes at the top of a gate? Destroy Rain Forests and make entire animal species homeless or worse still burn it down, roasting the animals 'trapped' alive?

Those who do not understand that by protecting the natural world, which provides and sustains our ability to live and survive on this planet, think it is their God given right, to abuse animals and other humans, based on sexism, racism or intimidate by religiously aggravated harassment, fail to recognise that in essence they destroy their own life. Furthermore they have the mentality of any regular crook behind bars for committing murder or even just a petty crime.

With the element of Choice and Free Will, each person is responsible only for their own Causes and why final judgement lives in the heart of each individual, whether they know it or are ignorant to this fact. Ignorance in the eye of the Law is no excuse. Good is good and bad is bad. Death is not the easy way out, especially when we may be returning to the same life, in another body.

So to answer your question, Global Warming is a THREAT to our Existence and every Cause made to extend life is rewarded. None of us can change the entire world in one life, but we can make contributions towards our own world. To determine life as cool or uncool is a matter of opinion. An Ant values its own existence and only a parasite in the bowels of a Lion can destroy this mighty of all Beasts.
