Why does my computer take so long to get ready for use when I turn it on?

I usually just leave it on 24~7, but is that bad for it?

Because you have too many programs on start up. You can leave your computer on, it wont hurt it. I only shut off my monitor at night.

There are a few things that could be causing the problem (I have had the same problem to)

One thing is, is that there can be tons of stuff on your computer making it hard for it to start up fast. Remember that your computer has to load up each individual program into the system before it can fully start up.

Another thing is, is that it can have a virus or spyware. This also will cause your computer to take longer to start up, because what ever is on your computer is forcing it to act ways you don't want it to.

    I hope that I helped you :D

Because you've probably got 4,300 unnecessary running processes in the background loading up.
