It will most likely affect the bass of the headphones. I don't think it will directly affect your Ipod unless you Ipod was put into the wash itself. The best thing to do it to try out your headphones, after you have dried them all over and made sure there is no water on the headphone jack.

It won't affect your ipod, but the wires in the headphones surely shorted out because of the water. You can get a new pair made by ipod in stores like Wal-Mart now, or opt for a cheaper pair...
Sorry about that =)

Don't plug them into your iPod...
it will cause a nuclear holocaust...millions will die...
Actually, the headphones wont hurt your ipod...the washing might have ruined the phones, but you can plug them in and check it out...it won't hurt the ipod at all...well, unless the headphones are still wet...

If you have an iPod under warranty tell Apple they are ****** and ya can have a new pair free....otherwise check like market stalls out or the Apple store sometimes they have em.

it might lower the quality of the headphones, perhaps break them, but most likely it won't.
it shouldnt affect your ipod at all.

Just incase something goes wrong have someone you don't really like try it out. If it goes smoothly then good for you. If he or she gets electrocuted then that's good too.
