    Amaretto sour

1 1/2 oz amaretto almond liqueur

1 - 2 splashes sweet and sour mix

Pour the amaretto liqueur into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Add a splash or two of sweet and sour mix, and shake well. Strain or pour into an old-fashioned glass, garnish with a maraschino cherry and a slice of orange, and serve

    Sparkling Amaretto Sour

    1 ounces Amaretto

3 ounces Sweet & Sour Mix

    1 splash Lemon-Lime Soda

Mix with ice in a sour glass.

    Brandy Alexander

    1 ounces Brandy

1 ounce White Creme de Cacao

    1 ounce Heavy Cream

In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the brandy, creme de cacao, and cream. Shake well. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with the nutmeg.

You can also use vanilla ice cream instead of heavy cream if you want a slightly thicker drink. Just put it all in a blender with two or three scoops of ice cream and blend.

    Bailey's and Amaretto

    1 ounces Irish Cream

    1 ounces Amaretto

Build in a lowball glass partially filled with ice. Stir and enjoy.

Well, this is how I make a brandy alexander - the 'true' recipe is equal parts, but I don't want to get hammered too quickly, so I add more cream..

    Brandy Alexander Cocktail

    For one serve:

    - 1 nip of brandy

    - 1 nip of creme de cacao

    - 2 nips of thickened cream

    - nutmeg - ice cubes

    Method:

Put the brandy, creme de cacao, and cream into a cocktail shaker with the ice cubes. Shake to blend all of the ingredients. Strain into a V shaped cocktail glass. Sprinkle the nutmeg lightly over the top and serve immediately. Delicious!! Cheers!

    With baileys....

    Slippery Nipple Cocktail

    For one serve:

    - 2 nips of sambucca

    - 1 nip of irish creme whisky eg. baileys

    Method:

Into a shot glass pour the sambucca and then the baileys. This is a layered drink so you need to be careful when pouring. The best way to do this successfully is to get a teaspoon and turn it face down over the sambucca and then gently pour the baileys over the back of the spoon. With practise you find this becomes much easier. You can use either light or dark sambucca, but the dark sambucca will give you a more dramatic looking drink. Cheers!

    (serve in a shot galss)

And, if you have a MEGA sweet tooth - these are yummy...

    Toblerone Cocktail

    For one serve:

    - 1 nip of hazelnut flavored liqueur eg. frangelico

    - 1 nip of coffee flavored liqueur eg. kahlua

    - 1 nip of irish cream whisky eg. baileys

    - 1 tablespoon of honey

    - 2 nips of cream

    - chocolate syrup

    - ice cubes

    Method:

Put the frangelico, kahlua, baileys, honey, and cream into a cocktail shaker with the ice. Shake vigorously. Pour chocolate syrup into the side of a balloon glass and rotate the glass to create a pattern on its inside with the chocolate syrup. Gently strain the mix from the cocktail shaker into the glass. Decorate the drink with some flaked chocolate, and the rim of the glass with strawberries. Decadence! Cheers!

Sorry no amaretto recipe - I've rarely used it in drinks.
