No dash lights on 85 chevy pickup?
All the exterior lights work, blinkers, turn, brake and driving, BUT I have no dash lights except by the heater control. Also, the High Beam indicator is on when I am driving with low beams and off when I drive with high beam. I do not have an interior overhead light.

I had a 1995 Chevy pick up and I had the same problem. I took a test light to all the fuses and wires and everything was running hot. I had to replace the headlight switch and then everything worked fine.

Make sure your headlight swich is turned all the way to the left.That old of a truck you might just have to replace all the little bulbs in the dash.Dimmer swich may have to have the two wires switched.check all the fuses of course.Good luck.
