How do you change a person's mind?

What makes a person think that by voicing what you know you are somehow able to change the mind of another without their consent?

You can't change another person's mind, but God can. St Paul persecuted Christians, but God knocked him ff his horse, and made him a most ardent believer. Always be nice to people. Be respectful if they have opinions you disagree with. Usually people will accept what you say if they have some misinformation about what your beliefs are. Pray for them, before you answer.

I do agree that no one can change another person's mind. Let us remember that we were all made to choose. If God allow this how can mortals do different? We can only pray for the individual and prayerfully encourage the individual to try doing the right thing in a loving manner. There is an old saying that goes like this,'a person forced against his will is of the same opinion still.' So it is not we the individual who have changed the mind of the other person; but if the mind is changed to do right we can give thanks to God. However, if the person goes on to do wrong we can only pray for better for that individual.

Hi, here it goes. If the person is open minded. and you can proved to him or her error of their ways, you might be able to change their mind. But if the person is closed to their own thought you can't do it. This kind of person needs God.You can't change another person's mind, but God can do it, and His Holy Word can, if the question is Bible related. Anna

There are four ways to change a person's mind:

force (believe or I will kill, torture you)

emotion (if you do not believe me, you do not love me)

authority (you must believe this because the pope...)

    rational argument

ethically, only last form is accepted
