Factory Spec gap is .035"~.036" / .9mm,,,might wanna try that
NGK application-specific plugs are xxxxxx-9
DPR7EA-9 actually.
-9 means "0.9mm",,or .036"
So the plugs specifically for your bike come Pre-gapped @.0.9 mm/.036"

Better figure more like .028", in that era, that was pretty much the factory standard for just about all bikes. If you have aftermarket coils like Dyna, then go for the .032". Gap them too wide and they'll be fine at first, but as the gap increases with wear, you'll start getting misfires or hard starts.

probably right at 32 like my sons toyota. try it and if it does not make you happy go to a auto parts house and look in the chilton or the haynes information and repair guide. you can buy that manuel for about $20.00 it will always come in handy as long as you have the car.
