Put it in a 5% savings account and add to it monthly.

save it until You find something you really want . You may find that there is not anything really Worth spending it on right now.
Always wait a bit before spending it though- if you don't you will waste it on impulse buys.
See if there is someone who needs something- I always like to do something nice for others- Check @ a local church or Nursing home. See if you can adopt a person- a lot of times the social services dept will help you and you can buy the person something they need- a coat or some new slippers.
You'd be shocked at how many elderly people have no family left who visit them or see that they have the clothing they need. A $15 pair of slippers could make someones year!
