In US honking is like verbal abuse whereas in India it is a Fashion. Comment.....?

Do not compare any thing with other.

You have one person living in 1 KM² and in India 1000 persons living in the same area. So the population and crowd would not be same in both the places. Hence we use so much horns here.

It's all about different cultures and understanding....

Using swearword like F*** is abusive in India, but it's a fashion in US.

So you can better honk and not to say "F*** off" in India,

while you don't honk but open your dirty mouth in US to do the same thing.....that is to get the Idiots away from the front of your car.

The problem in America is driving angry some thing American need to think about. Some people In rural areas only honk when they pass a friend's house.

Never compare or compare & get no solutions either in India or USA..

American economy is going down due to BOMBING all the muslim nations whereas Indian economy is becoming better due to intelligent Indian people.

I pity those who follow US fashion. Many years ago, they brought in "Bra" and said that that is the only gadget that keeps the body shape. So the poor Indians gave up their conventional wear and started using the so called Bra. later the americans understood that it is better to leave it free and now they are free. They then said that breast feeding is not good and go for Baby feeds. All Indians started follwoing it. Now they come back and say " Please breast feed your children and baby feeds are harmful" . Then they came up and introduced Fast food. Now they say it is harmful too. Indians were using many Ayurvedic medicines. US said that they are useless and premitive. Indians gave it up. Then they started taking patent and use it only. Please rmeember, US is a walk away child of Britain they do everything opposite to what others do; and try to establish that they are right. In britain they drive on left side. so the US drive on right side. The light switch is on when pressd down. In US the light switch is on when pressed up. In Brtain they keep the fork on the left side. In US they keep it on right side. In Britain they keep the door knob on the right side. In US they keep it on the left side. There are so many such examples.

Every custom and manner is suitable to that country and follow it. Do not follow what others say.

In India, if you do not honk, you will be a murderer. Us Rules are good in US only. We are Indians and we have the best rules for the Indian climate. Be proud of it.

In U.S. there are no cows, donkeys, buffaloes, bullock carts, cyclists, rickshaws, push-carts, pedestrians, hawkers, dogs, on the road. Indian motorists need to honk every minute to move forward. Ya, it is democracy on the road.

The horn was put in the car as a safety measure not for Fashion, the horn is more supposed to be used for a person that is cutting out in front of you or when you had the right of way and they took it.

Different customs 4 different nations. That's allI can say.
