This is because the mind needs time to edit and process what has happened, like the play-back of a tape recorder. Even when something happens before our eyes, it has past before we realize it. With everything going on all at once, imagine what we are missing compared to how much we retain. Yeah, I think this God idea is a bit too heavy for ordinary people to comprehend.

I think that you may be referring to God the Almighty, well then no, he is superior to all other beings because through him all other being came into existence. Including Satan who was created a perfect cherub but chose to disobey God and therefore no longer enjoys the sacred protected position.
