What was the Council of Constantine and what did they do?
Did it have to do with which books are included in our current Bible? If so, what were some that were left out & why?

His council was the Nicene Council. It didn't decide which books were included in the Bible, it resolved the Arian controversy that was dividing the Church. When Constantine defeated Emperor Licinius in 323 AD he ended the persecutions against the Christian church. Shortly afterwards Christians faced a trouble from within: the Arian controversy began and threatened to divide the church. The problem began in Alexandria, it started as a debate between the bishop Alexander and the presbyter (which is a word for pastor, or priest) Arius. Arius proposed that if the Father begat the Son, the latter must have had a beginning, that there was a time when he was not, and that his substance was from nothing like the rest of creation. The Council of Nicea, a gathering similar to the one described in Acts 15:4-22, condemned the beliefs of Arius and wrote the first version of the now famous creed proclaiming that the Son was "one in being with the Father" by use of the Greek word "homoousius." Emperor Constantine's Nicene council is usually pointed to as the source for the doctrine of the Trinity.

It is actually called the council of Nicea
The Council of Nicaea was to produce a document which was to become a basic doctrine of Christendom. It was called the Nicaean Creed and it spelled out the relationship of God to Christ as decided upon at that Council. A comment with regard to it in the fourth Century ‘History of the Greek Nation’ gives an interesting perspective on the value of the Nicaean Creed. It states, “ It ( the Nicaean Creed) shows Constantine’s indifference to doctrinal matters . . . his stubborn insistence in trying to restore unity within the church at any cost, and finally his conviction that as bishop of those outside the church he had the final say about any religious matter.’

At this council of Nicea the powers that be at the time threw out all the most interesting and mystical books from the Bible and left us with the drivel we have today. Google "Apocrophia" or "Lost books of the Bible"
In these discarded books we find the early life of Jesus and many stories and testamants of the more unothodox saints. By removing the mystical books they tried to make it simple, they succeeded.

i have read, unfortunately don't remember where, that the heads of the catholic church and constatine decided books that would be included in the bible. those excluded were anything having to do with women in any aspect of the church such as being preists, or speaking in church, etc. also there's a very controversial issue regarding mary magdalene having written a book herself that was left out of the bible, when the male followers books were all included. also one controversial idea is that magdalene was married to jesus and had children with him and that they fled the country after his execution. supposedly the vatican has all this material. lol
