Electrolytic gels?
Can someone point me to some information about electrolytic gels? I understand some basic chemistry, but something for a non-scientist would be helpful. A little more fleshed out than just a blurb.
Thanks.

Well i have never heard of this before, but this website might help:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gel_electrophoresis
Essentially the point of it seems to be seperating DNA strands. The summation that is given from the Electrophoresis Wikipage gives is that it is: "Electrolysis wherein the solvent is a gel"
