Bad idea to see ex girlfriend tonight?
I realized recently that i still love my ex girlfriend. We dated for about 1.5 years starting at the end of college and broke up mutually 6 months ago. She told me she sees me as a friend now, and is pursuing some other guy. Ive let her know my feelings, but friends is all it is for now. Tonight we will be going to a movie together, and I'm starting to wonder whether this is a good idea. She is amazing and means the world to me, but at this juncture it is not mutual. When she told me we were just friends, i told her to be honest and say she doesn't love me anymore if thats how she feels, but she wouldn't do it. Is this such a good idea to go through with? I need some help keeping my emotions in check, i want to be there for her whether its friends or anything else. Thanks everyone.

It sounds like you're totally rational and on top of the situation, and I think you know your reasons for going or not going. If you think you can get her back, then by all means, go for it. But remember: All the time you spend chasing after something you lost, there's more going out the door.

I'm gonna say it's probably not a good idea. I know it's never been a good experience going out somewhere with an ex when I still had feelings for them. Especially if there is a 3rd party. Emotions will get mixed up, it will turn into a drama, and eventually, someone will end up getting hurt.

I'm going through the same situation. Pretty much exactly how you describe it. I still go out with my ex sometimes to movies and dinner. I still have alot of love for her and Ill take a friendship over not having her in my life at all. Its really difficult at first just being friends and not being able to hold her or be intimate with her but its getting better and we are staying good friends. Hope everything works out for you.

Why even go out with an Ex? Think about it whats the real motive? Friends bs. Your just a rebound, if her pursing this other guy fails.
Move on your ex is ex a past. I think your both confused.
