Stillborn births?

I am 32 weeks pregnant and recently read an article a woman wrote about losing her child at 34 weeks. This has terrified me, i know you are never 100% safe but i thought i could relax a little now. She just stopped feeling movement. What are the chances of that?

Don't worry. If anything like that is going to happen then it is god's will but i would not for one minute stress over that.

I don't know of the chances, but stressing over it won't help you. Just do everything by the book, eat right, exercise lightly, follow doctor's orders. That's about all you can do. Women have lost babies at every week of pregnancy. Some carry babies to term only to have the baby die at birth or be born with a life threatening problem......all of which you cannot control. All you can is pray for a healthy delivery and baby and follow doctor's orders.

  • I have lost a baby at 27 weeks, so I have lost the ability to enjoy future pregnancies. Relax, take a breath, and enjoy it. Express your concerns to your doctor. I can't answer how common it is except by the women that I talk to that have gone through it.

Don't look for problems where there are none. Things, bad things happen all the time, but, what you need to do is relax, enjoy your pregnancy and stop expecting the worst to happen. If it's going to happen let it find you, don't you go looking for it.

Honey, you're down to the wire. Enjoy these last few weeks of pregnancy. Fluff up the dolls in the nursery instead of reading or watching that scary stuff.

Think about it this way: A car bomb went off in Iraq, are you worried about one going off in your garage?

Right now, make sure you have your names picked out, your bag packed...and God speed!

Its not likely that your baby would pass away inutero.

Losing a child during any point in your pregnancy is always a possibility, but like I said, not likely.

your chances are very low, but it does happen. Have faith, it will all be fine!
