What is the best strategy game out there now?

I now play Empire Earth and 1503 AD. Something comparable to either would be good and on-line ability would be wonderful. Thanks!

    Age of Empires 3 man!!

    there are always like 2000-3000 people on, and it's not hard to find a match! Also, there's a lot of diversity between the civilizations, and from the games you said, it's a plus that it is historically based right?
