How many of you have truely taken the time?

To be fair, I have read about him and seen him on the debates and even wasted part of a Sunday morning listening to him on meet the press. I do not like his political views and I do not think he is good for the country. Realistically, the guy is a goof.

I have. And I interpret the Constitution much differently than he does. I also don't see eye-to-eye with him on the role (or size) of government, and his tendency toward isolationism.

I'm glad you're doing your own research and forming your own opinions, as everyone should-- it's everyone's constitutional right to vote for whomever they deem best.

you are correct that name recognition doesn't equal competence...but surely common sense has to count for something, and 'ronpaul' is sorely lacking...

why is it that you 'ronpaulites' automatically assume that the reason 95% of the public doesn't support 'ronpaul' is because we don't know anything about him? how arrogant! fact is, we know who he is and what his positions are, and we STILL reject him-get over it

I have, the only thing I dissagree with is his stance on the war.
