Definately a second degree.
Don't break the blisters, just wash it, put some antibiotic cream on it, and cover it with a non-stick dressing like Telfa (not a bandaid). Be sure to change your dressing every day and keep an eye out for signs of an infection (pus, more redness, swelling, or pain). The skin might also itch as it heals, so avoid scrating it.

Blister= 2nd degree. Take Ibuprofen, keep cold water (not ice) on it if it still hurts and keep it clean. DO NOT BREAK THE BLISTERS. My sympathy- a burn is so painful. I put my wrist on a hot glue gun the other day. It burns and sticks to you at the same time! Yikes!

2nd degree, probably a superficial partial-thickness burn. Avoid popping the blister and let it heal itself. If it does pop, keep it sterilized. In my experience, burns heal better the less you mess with them.

Blisters are usually 2nd degree, if I recall, but that seems a little severe.

Second degree it should completely heal within 3-4 weeks...learned that from anatomy and physiology. And if you take good care of it, no scarring.

2nd degree, don't pop blister b/c it might get infected. apply some antibacterial ointment and cover w/ bandage until healed

It sounds like you just have first degree burn.
