If There is no God, then how did we come to exist?

Facts please, not theories, otherwise its illogical.

Update:

i forgot, the old give it a million years and anything can happen. Theory of Evolution, not Fact of Evolution. And by the way are you talking about Macroevolution or Microevolution.

It takes more faith to believe in something coming from nothing, with no eyewitnesses, nor any species, continuing to transform into another species. Science is observation and repitition, not speculation. A million years, thats better than once upon a time.

Father help me to use your wisdom, not mine.

There is a God. I think the others are just scared because if they know there is a God that means not only were they wrong, but then they have to change their ways. That's very hard for people to accept. Think of it this way, if God gave us all the answers... there would be no room for faith. God bless all!

  • we were taught that God is believed by some to have created everything because He loves us and God decided to save the Israelites. So some believe our creator was like a human, but cannot die, and has powers greater than any other living creature. But It is taught both by science and religion, that only humans were born with free will and intellect. Animals don't think they have only instinct. A storm doesn't choose to occur. There can be existence without being God. You can only trace evolution all the way to nothing, but it doesn't mean it has to be the work God. Creation has no control, it constantly happens.

Oh, please don't ask for facts on a religious subject. You see, what determines a "fact" is really the point of view of the observer. It's like asking some one to support their religion with out using scripture.

But, let's go with this one. If you can accept that the universe could not have existed without God in the first place, then where did God come from?

Ah, you're already thinking it. God came from nothing. Well, if you can accepted God came from nothing, then why is it such a leap of faith to accept the universe came from nothing?

Now, bear in mind I used no facts, but I believe I made a logical argument.

    best wishes.

Well there are many scientific theories on how life began. Some of these include life coming from distance planets via meteors. Other theories are that life evolved from non-life. To date there is not enough evidence to prove that one of these theories is true. This is an open question in the scientific community.

Now, I know its easy to put your dunce cap on and say "Errrr. u don't know. Gawd did it." The fact that we don't know is not evidence of design its evidence of a gap in our understanding. I think we should humble ourselves because science has a long way to go. Are you going to sit there and say to scientists 300 years from now that we`ve reached the end of science? Since we cannot answer this question now the answer is by default God? These are not easy questions.

Source(s): Arguement from increduility is the arguement from ignorance. Pointing out holes in our understanding is hardly impressive and proof of nothing

What facts do you have, that god does exist, and that he created everything?

That is the actual point of it all. If you were not told since you were a child that "god did it", you would have no reason to believe that their even is a god, let alone, one who is responsible for all creation.

I don't claim to have answers. I claim to not know, and will not believe in people that claim to know, without any proof whatsoever...

Fact: my parents had sex and so did yours.

    Next question, please.

Patrick E: The Theory of Evolution is a collection of facts.

In science, theories are used to explain facts. Facts are to theories as words are to a book, scientifically.

evolution is a fact. maybe macroevolution isn't a fact, but microevolution is most certainly a fact.

FACT #1 ... The THEORY of evolution is scientific FACT as a THEORY is a scientific idea with so much EVIDENCE (not belief) to support it that is is accepted as fact.

So, the answer to your question is that there was no need for god as evolution is the reason there are so many varieties of living things.

If we exist, why does that point to a male being as being the creator? All you know is that you exist. You have no idea how the human race was created.
