what is the best device 2 use 4 storing pictures/photos? Is it a memory stick, card reader or flash drive?
I have tons of photos on my computer and I'm looking to store them in another place, since my computer is running slow due to all the photos. I've tried looking on line for stuff and there's so much to choose from, what is the best device to use? The flash pen drive memory stick, Pen drive card reader, memory stick Pro Duo, etc.. These could possibly do all the same thing but just called something different, so I'm looking for some input from you. thanks a bunch!

If you have a "ton of photos" you might want to check to see how much space you are going to need to hold them all. This could dictate what you need since most flash drives (of whatever type) don't go much past 8GB...so if you have more than that then an external hard drive might be the answer.

I would recommend you, get a external harddrive, and a pack of disc. First, back up your entire computer on the external drive. Put your pictures on it also.
Next, get a DVD-r and put all your photo's on a disc, and store it in a cool place.
Flash sticks not a good idea, they are better at storing documents.

It is definitely Flash drive my number one way of keeping stuff.
Memory stick is also nice but not as effective as flash drive (at least for me).

flash drive is the best followed by memory stick.

Get a memory card @ Wal mart ,at least 1 gig. Download your pics , then remove from hard drive , your speed will improve.......Lou
