Favorite horse books???

What is your favorite horse book? I just got done reading "Chosen By a Horse" by Susan Richards. It was really good. Anybody read it yet? My other two favorites that stand out is "Ruffian, Burning from the Start" and the "Horse Whisperer"! Book was a heck of alot better than the movie. I read it in 4 days when my leg was broken. Which is yours.... maybe you can turn me on to another new favorite.

Update:

Ok... I will also add the black stallion series! They were my favorites growing up.

YES! I love "Chosen By a Horse". In a way it is sad...but touching! I also love the flicka triology (My Friend Flicka, Thunderhead, and Green Grass of Wyoming) even though they are supposed to be for kids!
