Any ideas for my sweet sixteen?
I'm turning 16 next year and i cant think of what to do for my sweet sixteen. A lot of my friends threw themed parties. I loved Disney Princesses but would that be to childish? Is there any way to make it not so childish? Please give me some ideas that wont cost me (my parents) a fortune!

Not at all childish..and if anyone says that it is, just tell them that you're sixteen, not thirty and if you can't celebrate your childhood and growing up now, when should you do so?I love the idea. your could start off the evening with a strong Disney theme..music and only the sort of food and drinks you can get in a cinema, and as time passes, introduce more adult music and refreshments..obviously not alcohol....all those sad individuals who think it isn't a party if they are not drunk can go jump!...but non-alcoholic cocktails should go down really well and you can serve more adult foods to go with them..canapes and other finger foods. if you type "non-alcoholic cocktails" into the search bar you should get quite a number of recipes for them but I have included one site address..actually a road safety site, but the drinks sound good!
Have a great birthday and a happy new year.

you could have a day out on the town with your best friends, or a junk food fueled, movie marathon extravaganza! You could have a theme for it, get all your favorite movies, tell everyone to dress up in their finery, get as much junk food as possible and pull an all nighter, watching movies, playing games, eating until your teeth go to hell... or you could have a small beach party, bonfire, marshmallows, spooky stories etc

Have a party with no theme. Simply have loud music, loads of people and a large area. Have drinks and all that but by having no theme and having it as simple as this it will seem like you are not a kid anymore which is a good thing. And have booze if allowed. This works every time.

First thing first you are never to old for a Disney princesses party but if you are worried about it being to childish i do have ideal instead of having a Disney princess theme just do a prince and princess theme where all the boys dress up in suits and the girls wear dresses and tiaras (if you need ideals just look at the Hilary duff and chad Michael Murray characters in Cinderella). Just use what your ideal prom would be like for inspiration. But do make sure your dress stands out from everyone elses as this is your night maybe even arriving after everyone else and get someone to announce your arrival
