Why doesn't alcohol freeze?

    It will freeze, the less % of alcohol the quicker it will freeze

    Beer will freeze at 25-30 usually

    But something like Bacardi 151 you might need to take it down to something like -40 F

    alcohol does freeze, most beer freezes quickly and weak liqours

    It does. Pure ethyl alcohol freezes at -114 deg C, which is colder than dry ice.

    It will freeze at a low enough temperature but it does not freeze in a regular freezer because the freeze point of alcohol is lower than water. Its the same thing as salt water, try sticking a cup of salt water in your freezer, it will take awhile to freeze, if it does at all. Basically the molecules in alcohol don't react as wildly to cold temperatures so it takes a while to freeze.

    I'm sure it does freeze you just didn't have it at the right temperature its probably some low number like -40 F
