I am from Spain. The Spanish are lovely, in my opinion. They make the best friends, because they are funny and loyal, at least the ones from the center and North. They can be loud but they are considerate. They would never be loud in a library. I have met Central and South Americans who have just as much class as the Spanish, the upper classes obviously. In all cultures, you have people who are incosiderate of others, though. Let us not say the Spanish are classy and the Central and South Americans are not classy. This is silly and childish.

With the influx of Spanish speaking people into the US, it will soon become part of Latin America and English will no longer be required to be taught in schools and it will be replaced by Spanish.

Dont you people understand that during the killing and expulsions of the native americans you were also occuping territory (legally and otherwise) from Mexico and that LOS ANGELES was once in mexican territory as all the other states that border it. The mexican people have always been there , the border crossed them , they didnt cross the borders.

By the year 2050, the US will be 24% Hispanic. Not a majority by any means. They might be a majority in some of the big cities, though.

I live in central PA. The percentage of people that do not speak English is growing at an alarming rate. Alarming to the fact that neighbors that cannot communicate have trouble getting along with each other. Resentment runs high on both sides. Law enforcement is overwhelmed with neighborhood disputes. I believe the people coming across the border are ,by & large, the most illiterate of that country.The lack of education goes hand in hand with the disability to develope common sense & the disability to care for yourself financially. It is a double whammy for the tax payers of this country. On one hand, their willingness to work cheaper then Americans cost jobs & on ther other, the growing cost to the taxpayer to educate these people & take care of them healthwise. This invasion( inspired by corporate America) is costing the American worker greatly while corporate America wins on both counts. Much lower wages. No unemplyment insurance, no social security payments, no healtcare payments. Just one free ride. The more that come, the closer we get to becoming a spanish speaking country.
