Huckabee says Romney owes him an apology.. that Romney lied about him. ...Would Romney lie about Huckabee?

"DES MOINES — Mike Huckabee told me Sunday that Mitt Romney should apologize for saying “blatantly untrue” things about him.

Huckabee also said such an apology would be accepted only if Romney also admitted that he “has not been forthcoming” about his own record."

"I didn’t draw first blood and say terrible things about Mitt,” Huckabee said. “I’m not angry. This is politics; it is the way it works. But he not only wants to make up his record, but my record."

Romney flip flops more than a fish out of water. He will say or do anything for the nomination. I watched Huckabee on Meet The Press. Either he is telling the truth or he is the most convincing liar I have ever seen. Romney and Giuliani on the other hand reek of shifty, back-stabbing, political lying for personal gain.

It's just more political calculation. Hillary has a staffer release to Novak a message that they have crap on Obama but don't want to tell anyone what it is. The next day they deny it, and then apologize for it. Too late! Damage done (which was the plan all along). Huckabee is trying to do the same thing. Send out little jabs, and is trying to send the message that "real" Christians would never vote for a Mormon. Then can apologize and hope to minimize the aftermath of such a statement. Why would anyone vote for such a man as Huckabee? Because they are fundamentalist nuts thats why (everyone else will be voting for another). I will be voting for Romney.

Can anyone believe anything Huckabee says?

He is sneaky. I would not trust anything Huckabee says.

Yes, he would. Romney has been caught in a few lies during his campaign.

However, the SCOTUS recently passed down a ruling that said a candidate's lies during a campaign are protected under the 1st amendment as free speech.

Boy, 2008 is going to be a fun election cycle... Which one do you think will be the first to blame the other of being a "Nazi war criminal that sells babies on the black market to illegal aliens who use them as slave labor to dig tunnels under our borders to smuggle terrorists in with dirty shoe bombs"?

Buckle-up people, we're in for a bumpy ride.

And, we wonder why more people care about Britney Spears, than who's president...

I think they're all sorry, and should apologize to the American People.

Romney would and probably does lie about Huckabee, just as he lies about himself.

Romney has John Kerry syndrome - any way the wind blows.

Well I can tell you this. Under Huck, Arkansas had a nice surplus, so much so that state taxes are being removed from food purchases, and schools are getting large donations from the state for improvements if the communities vote for a millage increase. On the other hand, I KNOW he pandered to illegals, because it happened in my town. As far as tough on crime, I didn't see any major changes while he was Governor, such as stiffer penalties for drug manufacturing, which we really needed to get rid of the meth labs.

If they keep it up, they'll hand the nomination to McCain.

McCain will win New Hampshire and Michigan and the two bible boys will make Iowa and South Carolina non-starters with their adolescent whining.

I say they beat each other with their respective holy books until one is left.
